Surventrix will join some of the leading voices in property and technology at the inaugural RICS Technology & AI Summit in London this November, with CEO Ben Darley and Head of Sales Ryan Oakes AssocRICS among the event's speakers.

Artificial intelligence, digital twins, automation, computer vision and increasingly sophisticated data platforms are creating new opportunities across property and surveying. But as the technology develops, an equally important conversation is taking place around professional judgement, accountability and responsible adoption.
On Monday 30 November 2026, that conversation comes to Convene, 22 Bishopsgate, London, for the inaugural RICS Technology & AI Summit.

Ben Darley and Ryan Oakes AssocRICS join the speaker line-up
Surventrix CEO Ben Darley will bring both technology and operational experience to the summit.
As RICS notes in its speaker profile, Ben's focus is on moving the surveying industry beyond AI experimentation towards practical, commercially valuable tools that can be deployed safely within professional practice. His experience also extends beyond technology through his role as Managing Director of FS Panel, providing a real-world understanding of the challenges facing surveyors, firms and their clients.
He'll be joined by Ryan Oakes AssocRICS, Head of Sales at Surventrix.
Ryan is an AssocRICS Residential Surveyor and RICS Registered Valuer who completed the SAVA Diploma in Residential Surveying and Valuation before moving into his current role with Surventrix. That combination gives Ryan a particularly valuable perspective on technology: not simply how software works, but how it fits into the day-to-day reality of being a residential surveyor.
Responsible technology in practice
Responsible adoption will be one of the major themes running throughout the summit.
The programme will examine questions including the future role of AI in professional judgement, how organisations can move from pilot projects to wider adoption and the skills tomorrow's surveyors will require.
At 11:00, the programme also includes a Technology Spotlight focused on ethical and responsible technology in practice, with Surventrix represented alongside other technology businesses.
The session will look at how organisations are addressing data quality and embedding responsible innovation as new technologies are introduced into the built and natural environment.
For Surventrix, that responsible approach is fundamental.
AI can help surveyors capture and organise information, streamline workflows, support report production and reduce repetitive administration. But professional judgement, accountability and quality control must remain with the surveying firm.
A day focused on the future of the profession
The RICS Technology & AI Summit will feature keynote presentations, interactive masterclasses, live technology demonstrations, debates, exhibitions and practical case studies.
Topics will range from AI and professional judgement to digital surveying, data capture, governance, skills and the implementation of emerging technology across the wider built environment. Delegates can also earn 6.5 hours of structured CPD.
The headline keynote will be delivered by Professor Dame Wendy Hall DBE FRS FREng, an authority on AI, digital geopolitics and technology governance, with speakers from across RICS and the wider industry contributing throughout the day.
